LEARN VALUABLE SKILLS FOR ANY PROFESSION
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity running a unique crash-course in legal issues, formal writing, communication, and civic engagement |
Started by a Bentley University student, Legally Ours' curriculum aims to allow school-aged children to develop legal literacy skills while enabling them to use the background of the law to find their voice.
Students will learn fundamental legal concepts and develop formal communication skills, then put them to use through writing detailed goal-focused letters to local lawmakers in support of issues they care about. Legally Ours seeks to build the principled, knowledgeable leaders of the future, who are not afraid to speak truth to power by holding corporations accountable, expecting more from politicians, and creating change in their communities across every profession. |
